FAQ's

I can't watch the video!
All my videos are in WMV format. Try downloading the latest Windows Media codecs and installing them. You also need Windows Media Player or a player that supports .wmv files.

How do you make the videos?
I download the footage from Overnet or rip it from a DVD, and then I use Windows Movie Maker 2 to edit the footage with music. All of the stuff I've used so far is free, although that may change.

How do you make your graphics?
With yet another free program, Serif Photoplus 5.5. The caps I use are made with Windows Movie Maker.

Can you help me with Windows Movie Maker/ HTML/ X computer program?
Sure! I'm no expert at any of the programs I use, but if you email me I'll see what I can do.

Can you make a video that I request?
Maybe. :) I can't promise anything, but if the pairing or character is one I like (look in the "About Me" section down the page for more about my eclectic ships and shows), and the music inspires me, I can certainly try. You can send requests by the contact page.


About Me

Not much to tell. My name is Kristen, I am (or will be) a college student in the Northeast this fall, and I harbor certain aspirations in the way of writing. Apart from all this geeky fannish stuff, I like other geeky stuff: reading, writing, screenwriting. I'm obsessed with Charlie Kaufman, I want to be just like Donnie Darko, and I think Hillary Clinton ain't that bad.

I've been making fanvids and writing fic since May 2003. I got into vidding (and ficcing actually) because I was a huge, huge Corday/Romano shipper for ER. I couldn't find any music videos about this pairing on the web, so I made my own. Then another, and then another, till I started branching out into other characters and shows. This site was just one free page on Angelfire, but as I learned more HTML and graphics programs, I started building more and finally bought this domain.

As for ships, I'm pretty fanatical. I foamed at the mouth when that chopper killed off Romano (and thus any chance at a Cordano relationship). On ER, I also like(d) Gallant/Neela, Mark/Susan, Luka/Abby, and Jeanie/Benton. And Doug with Carol, of course. My second favorite pairing, though, is Jack/Irina at the moment. I also like Luke/Lorelai, Seth/Ryan, Larry/Ally, and Pacey/Joey.
